Q

About the contract procedures for the utilities (electricity / gas / water) (Regular long term contract)

A

Note: contract procedures cannot be performed on your behalf at the service center.

【When moving in】

Electricity/Gas/Water, a contract with each company (opening procedure/payment) is required.

■In many cases, the utilities will be ready to start using, but they will be stopped on a later date if you do not start a contract.

■If you started a contract but there’s still no electricity, turn all the breakers to "入" or "ON" position

■If you started a contract but there’s no running water, check the water main valve. No special procedure is required for properties including water in the management fee.

■It may be necessary to be present when opening the gas, so we recommend that you contact the gas company with plenty of time.

If you have any questions after starting the utilities, please contact each company.

【When moving out】

Please contact the utilities at least 5 days before you leave the room at the latest.

■If you have changed your electrical amperage, request your power company to restore it to original value.

※You can also complete the procedure online.

■For the water is telephone procedure only.

■Those moving outside Japan need to inform each company and confirm the payment method.
