Q

The wireless (wifi) display is disappeared on LEONET. What should I do?

A

Wi-Fi connection with the Life Stick requires an internet subscription (Basic Plan/Light Plan/Standard Plan).

If the contract is ongoing and the initial setup is complete, the 'SSID (wireless name) and password' will be displayed in the top right corner of the service home (HOME) screen.

Using the Wi-Fi function of the Life Stick requires setting it up on an HDMI-compatible TV. If you do not have a TV, you will not be able to use the Wi-Fi function of the Life Stick, so please prepare an access point yourself.

There may be cases where the contract has expired, so please check your contract status.

If the Wi-Fi SSID and password do not appear on the screen despite your contract being active, please try the following steps

1) SSID may not appear if there are many Wi-Fi connections nearby. On your computer, smartphone, or tablet, try turning Wi-Fi OFF and then ON again, and check once more.

Depending on the model of the computer, the Wi-Fi button may be external.

2) Please check whether Wi-Fi is turned off in the network settings at the bottom of the Life Stick service home screen

If it is turned ON, the Life Stick is unable to broadcast Wi-Fi.

Turn it OFF, then restart the Life Stick and check again.

3) The frequency band of the Life Stick may not be compatible with the specifications of your device (such as a computer or smartphone).
