Q

If you suddenly stop having hot water in the room, try restoring the gas meter.

A

If the hot water that used to come out suddenly stops, the gas may have been shutted off at the gas meter.

Gas shut-offs may occur during periods of increased usage, especially from summer to fall and from fall to winter.

Please rest assured that this is a necessary function for safety confirmation and is not a malfunction.

(Main causes of gas blockage)

・Shutdown due to long-term use

If you continue to use hot water for a long time, the gas will automatically shut off.

・Shutdown due to increased usage

If the gas meter detects that the amount of gas used is higher than the amount recognized by the gas meter, it will automatically shut off the gas.

・Shutdown due to earthquake sensation

The gas meter will automatically shut off the gas if there is a relatively strong earthquake or very strong wind.

A gas cutoff at the gas meter can be easily restored.

Please check the "How to restore the gas meter" below and try the restoration work.
