(SmartLock) When trying to open/close the door, I can hear the sound of the motor from the Smartlock, but it doesn't unlock/lock.

If the following situation occur, the motor may have tried to move to lock/unlock but failed to unlock due to a physical problem (stuck).


The Smartlock may be having a problem of not fitting into the door or the deadbolt not being able to enter to the strike plate correctly.

You might be able to unlock(lock) while pressing or pulling the door to fit the lock or if you can find and remove what's making the door get stuck.

If the problem persists, try adjusting the lock knob position in the HomeHub app settings.

You need to be near the Smart Lock to perform this operation.

If you operate it incorrectly, the opening and closing may be reversed.

If you make a mistake in the settings, try setting them again.
