The auto-lock function of the Smartlock is not working properly.

A

① The Smartlock remaining battery charge:

The auto-lock function may not work properly when the charge of the batteries in the smartlock is low.

Please, check the amount of charge left in the batteries (click here to check the battery charge).

※For some types, such as the bitlockMINI, the inner side lock will also have batteries that needed to be replaced. Be sure to check both and replacing in case it's low.

② Readjust the configuration of the lock and the door position.

Sometimes the registered position may need to be readjusted, as it may be trying to lock in a different position that doesn't fit properly.

It usually happens due to deformation of the door/lock cylinder by the change of temperature or deformation due to time of use of the lock/door/hinges.

※For the bitlockMINI, turn off the auto-lock setting and follow the setting steps for the readjustment as shown below.
