■ Clean the room frequently
Mold grows by consuming a variety of nutrients, including dust, sebum, and oily dirt.
Vacuum frequently and wipe off any dirt.
To finish, it is effective to wipe it off with a cloth soaked in disinfectant alcohol.
■ Ventilate the room frequently
1.Open the windows and turn on the exhaust fan
Open the window and then turn on the exhaust fan.
2.If there is a 24-hour ventilation system, don`t turn it off
If there is a vent installed, keep it open.
3.Ventilate frequently even in winter
Frequent ventilation will reduce humidity, minimize temperature differences, and prevent condensation.

After using wet areas such as the kitchen, bathroom, or sink, wipe off any water immediately and ventilate the area thoroughly.
After bathing, run cold water on the walls and floor of your bathroom to lower the temperature and wash away any remaining soap stains.
It will be more effective if you wipe off the water from the walls and bathtub with a squeegee or microfiber cloth.
■ Measures against mold in air conditioners
1.Clean the filter once every two weeks
※Click here for filter cleaning instructions.
2.After using the dehumidification or cooling function of the air conditioner, run it on "fan operation" for about an hour to reduce the humidity inside the air conditioner
3.If the inside of the air conditioner is very dirty or emits an unpleasant odor, request a professional cleaning service.
■ Measures against mold in washing machines
1.Keep the lid open when the washing machine is not in use
Always keep the lid open to prevent moisture from building up inside the washer.
2.Don't leave laundry in the washing machine
Keep items outside the washing machine until you are ready to wash them, and hang them out to dry immediately after the wash to prevent moisture from building up inside the washing machine.
3.Clean the washing machine once a month
Clean it using a commercially available washing machine cleaner.

During the rainy season and summer when humidity is high, dehumidify the room.
If you have an air conditioner with a dehumidifying function or a dehumidifier, use it to remove moisture.
Moisture tends to accumulate in closets, shoe cabinets, and kitchen storage shelves, so be sure to open the doors frequently to reduce humidity.
During the rainy season, it is effective to keep the door open at all times and place a dehumidifier.
If you have a dehumidifier, replace it with a new one as soon as it becomes full.
The areas around furniture and home appliances tend to become environments where dust and air tend to stagnate.
When placing furniture or appliances, leave the left, right and back of the furniture a few centimeters away from the wall to ensure ventilation space.
The difference in temperature between indoors and outdoors can cause mold to grow on condensation that forms on window glass or in the attic.
1.Ventilate frequently even in winter
It prevents condensation by minimizing the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors and allowing moisture to escape.
2.Don't let the room temperature get too hot
To reduce the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, try not to set your air conditioner too high.
3.If condensation forms on the windows, wipe it off
Wiping with a squeegee or microfiber cloth is effective.
4.Don't keep the curtains closed
Condensation on curtains can cause mold to grow.
Be sure to open the windows regularly to ventilate and dry the curtains.
