If the water tap is installed in the pipe space next to the front door, please follow the steps below.

〈Procedure for turning on water from a water tap in a pipe space〉

1.Make sure all water taps in the kitchen and bathroom are turned off.

If any taps are open, close them all.

2.Go outside and open the door under the water heater next to the front door.

※Here's how to open the door under the water heater.

3.Turn the water supply valve in the "open" 「開ける」direction.

​

※If the water supply valve is a valve type, turn it left (counterclockwise) to open it.

※If the water faucet is a cock type, the direction to open it is when it is parallel to the water supply pipe.

4.Make sure that water is coming out of the faucets in the kitchen, bathroom, and sink.

※Please be careful when you first turn on the water as it will come out very forcefully. Turn the faucet slowly to let the water out and the problem will be resolved once the air in the water pipes is removed.

This completes the water supply work for the water supply valve in the pipe space.
