Please check below for instructions on how to drain the water.

The drain valve is installed on the floor near the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet areas.

​

※If a drain valve is not installed, skip the following steps and proceed directly to draining the water from the water heater.

​

〈Procedure for draining hot water〉

1.Open all the faucets inside the house and check that the water flow has stopped (leave all the faucets open for now).

​

※If water flows out forcefully from the tap, please perform the "drain operation using the electric drain control panel" or the "drain operation using the drain valve" first, and then proceed with the steps described in 1. above.

2.Turn the drain valve in the "open" 「開ける」or "water flow" 「通水」direction, but stop turning it just before it reaches the fully open position.

3.Flush all the water out of the toilet tank.

After flushing, allow at least 3 minutes to elapse to ensure that all water in the water pipes has been drained.

4.After completing step 1. above, be sure to close all the faucets that were opened.

​

5.Close the drain valve by turning it clockwise.

6.The water draining process is now complete.
