・ Check if all the switches on the circuit breaker are on. Check here.

・ Is the washing machine power button being pressed correctly?

・ Check if you have set the washing machine correctly and closed the lid after starting.

Some models will only start to wash after the start button is pressed and the lid is closed. For more information on how to start the wash, check the instruction manual.

If after setting the washing machine to start but the water does not start flowing into the tub, the faucet that controls the water flow may be closed.

Check the different types of faucet that are usually installed:

Faucets attached to the waterproof tray:

Turn the knob to the "Open"『あける/開ける』 side.

Faucets installed into the wall:

​

Open the tap/faucet on the wall that is connected to the washing machine.

 If you are not able to open the faucet, or if the water is not flowing in, even with the faucet open, inform the problem on our 『Inquiry Form』 with the details of the washing machine.

※Some washing machines will only start to fill the water when the lid is closed. Be sure to close the lid or check if there is nothing stuck that is blocking the lid to lock.

If the washing machine stopped due to a problem, an error may display:

​

・ The washing machine stops when it's filling the water:

Is the washing machine faucet open? Check here.

If the water faucet is closed or if the water is not available due to the supply being cut or the pipes frozen, you will not be able to use the washing machine.

・ The washing machine stops when the water is being drained:

Is the draining hose connected correctly to the drain? Check here.

If the draining hose is bent or blocked by and object or the washing machine on top of it, the water will not be able to pass through the hose and the washing machine will stop.

・ The washing machine stops when it's centrifuging the clothes:

Checking if the washing machine is not making noise or moving more than usual.

When the washing machine is unstable or the contents are all on one side, the impact may make the washing machine stop.

If there is an item stuck inside the tub the washing machine may also stop.

・ Other cases:

If the lid is open while it's washing, the washing machine will stop until the lid is closed again.

Check below the possible causes of the noise:

​

・ Pull the washing machine from the sides to check if it is unstable.

If the supports are unstable, the washing machine will make noise while washing.

・ Is the draining hose connected properly?

If the draining hose is not connected properly or being blocked, the water will take time to drain and the clothes may accumulate on one side causing noise when centrifuging. Check here how to properly connect the hose.

・ Check if there is something stuck inside the washing machine (hairclips, etc..).

​

・ Are you washing water proof material in the washing machine?

Water proof clothes will hold water, preventing it from draining. If during the drain function the centrifuge starts with too much water inside, the weight will make the washing machine tube to even move the machine out of place and even fall. Check the list of items you must not put inside the washing machine.

Objects that are not able to be washed:

・ Water proof clothes and other objects.

Rain coats; sauna vest; waterproof wear; ski/snow gear; leather clothes; waterproof apron; waterproof bags and packs; sleeping pack; etc...

※Do not wash waterproof items in general.

・ Carpet; carpet cover; rubber tapestry and objects; etc...

※Do not wash rubber/plastic items in general.

・ Sponge (urethane); pillows; cushion; mats; etc...

※Items that accumulate water and are hard to drain will become too heavy.

While pulling the lid, try to turn off and on the washing machine.

You will hear an unlocking sound and may be able to open the lid.

In some cases, for safety reasons, the machine will lock the lid by itself. Check the instruction manual how to unlock the lid in these cases.

【 How to connect the hose to the faucet 】

​

The way to connect the hose will depend on what type of faucet is available in the room.

Check the instructions below according to the faucet you have in your room.

If the faucet is installed on the waterproof tray for the washing machine:

​

・ If there is a connector installed on the waterproof tray for the washing machine, you will not need an adapter and you can just connect the hose.

Disconnect the adapter from the hose and connect the hose directly.

When connecting the hose, hold down the lock and push the connector all the way.

※You don't need the adapter for this type.

Slide the hose all the way and make sure the clip is holding the base of the connector.

The waterproof tray faucet has pin that may come off to prevent leaking. Check here  how to unlock the pin if it has come off.

If the faucet is installed on the wall:

​

・ You will need to install the adapter on the faucet to connect the hose.

※Be careful to not damage the adapter by closing the screws with too much force.

If the faucet is open, be sure to close it until the very end. Check the instructions below for the correct way to connect the water hose to the faucet and the washing machine.

【 How to connect the hose to the faucet 】

​

The way to connect the hose will depend on what type of faucet is available in the room.

Check the instructions below according to the faucet you have in your room.

If the faucet is installed on the waterproof tray for the washing machine:

​

・ If there is a connector installed on the waterproof tray for the washing machine, you will not need an adapter and you can just connect the hose.

When connecting the hose, hold down the lock and push the connector all the way.

※You don't need the adapter for this type.

The types where the faucet is installed on the waterproof tray, you will need a hose around 1.5m to 2m long to be able to reach the washing machine connector.

​

If your hose is too short, you will need an extension or a longer hose.

​

In this case, when purchasing a new hose, you must acquire the "One touch" type.

​

Some rooms that have the waterproof tray installed, the faucet may have a pin to prevent leakage.

On the faucet, a pin will come from inside the connector to prevent the water from coming out.

With the pin, the water will not leak, but you may also not be able to connect the washing machine hose.  Check the instructions below on how to make the pin return into the faucet.

How to reconnect the hose:

​

1.　Turn the valve on the waterproof tray to close the faucet.

2.　Close the main water valve outside the room. Check here.

The water is now connected. Open the main water valve on the water meter outside the room that was closed on the step ② and try to use the washing machine again.

If the hose is connected properly and the water still overflows, it may be a clog in the drain.

​

【 Drain hose connection: 】

​

There are 2 types of connectors for the draining hose. One will be in the center of the waterproof tray and the other will be closer to one side.

Instructions:

​

1.　Attach the metallic clip to the draining hose connecting side of the L shape pipe.

The drain hose is now connected.

​

​

※Water may leak during the draining procedure if the connection procedure is not done correctly.

※The L shape pipe is part of the drain from the room. Do not take it with you when moving out.

​

・ The drains in the room have a "water trap" inside to hold water to block the sewage air from coming inside the room, preventing the bad smell.

​

If the drain has not been used for a long time, the water that must be trapped may evaporate and the bad smell from the sewage will enter the room.

If there is a bad smell coming from the drain, use your washing machine or let water flow into the drain opening to fill the water trap inside.

​

・ There is also a possibility that the water trap inside the drain has been detached from it's place and is not storing water. Try to open the drain parts and remove and attach the parts again, turning it clockwise tightly so it will not come off place again.

​

​

※ If you do not have a washing machine in the room yet, you can use a water cup to fill the drain.
